Hi there! Let’s take a look at some cool avantgarde bags, that we are fully excited about! The Bao Bao Issey Miyake Bags! Since this year they are in the Luxury Loft! We have several great models and our CEO Michael Mohr just made sure to order more great ones in Paris Fashion Week for the next season too!
The design
The groundbreaking designer Issey Miyake’s Bao Bao line of exclusive bags follows the idea of “Shapes made by change”. Inspired by the japanese art of origami the triangular parts mounted on soft background is taking bag design into new directions! The design made of new materials and technology creates a unique sculptural silhouette. They are lightweight and soft, they fold to fit and create dramatic new forms when in use. Such a bag is a clear statement, that will take you to the very front of fashionforward elite, when you carry around this innovative artwork of a bag!
Comptable and exclusive
To Michael Mohr the bags are perfect for the Loft. “These bags are some of the most exclusive and, to me, most beautiful in the world! And, you know, It’s not easy to get a hold on them. I’m very happy, that we now are some of the only ones in the world to present them in both our Concept Store and in the online shop!” he says and continues “…and they are not only beautiful, but super comfortable! The way they shape themselves around the content and the body, when you carry it, is amazing! In that way you’ll also experience super comfort from these bags!”
Showroom
In the Paris Fashion Week in January Michael Mohr was in the Bao Bao Issey Miyake Showroom, with the next season in mind. He says about his experience: “In the showroom, there was of course all the items from the newest collection and I had to not let my excitement for them overrule, but keep focus on which of the bags are perfect for the Loft and our customers. I picked the best and coolest ones, which I’m certain will end up being pieces people will be thrilled to carry around! And the new collection for the fall/winther is amazing! You can really look forward! The atmosphere in the showroom was also full of excitement, these bags are truly in at the moment!”

Talk of the town
During Paris Fashion Week the whole city was full of poster of the bags. Bao Bao Issey Miyake was always present wherever you went and got to be the talk of town. Michael got a picture of it out of the window of a taxi, on the way from one showroom to the other.
